I Feel Jolly

My best friend Leah and I. Leah was lucky enough to find a Christmas sweater.

My friend Katie and I. On Friday for gym class we went bowling. During the day I actually wore white Converse with my sweater socks showing like they are now. 80s vibe.

Red lipstick for the win! Oh, and don't forget my statement necklace.

So, I have been feeling extra jolly these past few days. Although I consider myself somewhat of a Scrooge during the holiday season, when Christmas is only a few days away, I become as merry as ever. Friday at school was the student proclaimed "Ugly Sweater Day" and though some girls opt out of this festive day, I like to participate. There is something about everyone having on an ugly sweater that makes us all look cute and the dress wearers of the day look so.... not cute. I had trouble finding an Ugly Christmas sweaters so I grabbed my dad's sweater from a decade ago and improvised. I had an 80's vibe going on if I do say so myself.

The next outfit is from yesterday, Christmas Eve. Every year we have my family over for dinner and exchange gifts then. I love when my whole family is together. My black skirt isn't a skirt, it is a pair of shorts! Who knew, right? Not my family. I've deceived many people in the past with those.

Notice: I know I said that for outfit of the day posts I would post a short fictional story but I wanted to talk about the holidays and my ugly Christmas sweater instead. Next OOTD post will contain a fictional short story!

I wish everyone HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

    1. Thank you so much! :)

It was actually my first time wearing red lips in front of people. Usually I go for more of a natural look but I guess I was feeling bold. Haha :)
