As I mentioned in a previous post, I am the online editor of my school's newspaper. For our current issue (coming out in print TOMORROW!) I wrote an article on a topic I feel strongly about.
I wrote my article on Thinspiration- a vile internet trend. Below is my article, so please take the time to read and share this to spread awareness about this sickening trend.

While I'm on the topic of my school newspaper, I would like to talk about what I've been doing with that. This is our first year attempting to go online. We have no web designer or no one with extraordinary web coding skills; we just have me, a girl who kind of knows her way around blog platforms. I took on the role of designing the website which is one of my main jobs, along with editing the 50-something articles featured in each issue. So far, things have been rough going. Though I can create a basic blog, I did not realize how involved news websites are. Because of this, I have decided to take on the challenge of learning to code.
The website isn't perfect- heck it doesn't even have a custom domain yet- but it is a work in progress and I am proud of what I have done thus far. I am still working everything out, this will probably be a year long project. If you would like to check out the website, the link will be posted below.
